EDUCATIONAL
ACTIVITIES OF THE FACULTY
1.1 STUDIES AND STUDENTS (excerpt from the Statute)
Article 83.
At the Faculty, there are
academic and professional studies, based on granted, that is, accredited study programs
for the achievement of high education.
At the academic studies,
this program enables students to develop and apply scientific, professional and
artistic achievements.
At the professional studies,
this program enables students to apply knowledge and skills necessary for
participating in the working process.
The academic studies are
organized and performed as:
1) Basic
academic studies, lasting four
years, upon completion of which 240 ECTS points are acquired;
2)
Graduate
academic studies (master), lasting one year, upon
completion of which 60 ECTS points are acquired;
3)
Specialist
academic studies, lasting no less than a year, upon
completion of which no less than 60 ECTS points are acquired;
4)
PhD
studies, lasting no less than three years, upon completion of which
no less than 180 ECTS points are acquired.
Certain academic study
programs can be organized integrally with the basic and graduate academic
studies, so upon their completion 300 ECTS points are acquired.
The professional studies are
organized and performed as:
1) Basic professional studies, lasting three years, upon
completion of which 180 ECTS points are acquired;
2)
Specialist professional studies,
lasting no less than a year, upon completion of which no less than 60 ECTS
points are acquired.
